1. Who is your favorite character?
Abby. She makes only a cameo or two, but her life is examined more deeply in the current novel I'm writing.
2. Why is he/she your favorite?
She gives credence to the idea that everyone, whether they are a star or not, has a story.
3. How did you come to create him/her?
At first, she was just meant to be the embodiment of why we hate Ed, Rachel's ex-husband.
4. When did he/she first enter your mind?
Not until I realized I needed to put Richard's nephew in peril.
5. Where was he/she given life in the creative process?
She's actually had a life of her own before I began writing. She is a character in my current project that I wanted to connect to Best Seller.
6. What do like the most about him/her and what do you dislike the most about him/her?
In Best Seller she is a background player who barely makes and impression. It's not until my next novel, TAPE is released that we find out how complex and dangerous she has been nearly her entire life.
